School Apps Every Student Should Have π±
School is already hard but here are some apps that will make your school life just a bit easier and better. The best part is that ALL of these apps are FREE!!! I made sure that all of these are for free because I know how hard it is to try and save money while going to school.

Google Translate provides access to instant translations to and from dozens of languages, so you'll always have a way to communicate. No matter where you are in the world or who you're trying to talk to, this handy app will ensure you get the information you need. It's also very handy when you are doing homework in a different language and need help understanding the word or sentence.
2. Cymath - Math Problem Solver

iOS: Free
Enter your math problem, and let Cymath solve it for you step-by-step! So if you are stuck on a math question just type it in or take a picture of it and Cymath shows you the answer AND it explains how to get the answer step-by-step.
3. Brainly Homework Help & Solver

Got a question about an assignment or class discussion? Post it and within minutes receive a clear answer from another student. If you know your stuff down cold, you can share your hard-earned knowledge by answering questions of other students. The more you answer, the more you get, like ranks from Beginner to Genius that give you instant street-cred. I use this app whenever I don't know how to solve a math word problem so I just post it and people around the world help me by commenting the answer and how to do it.
4. Quizlet Flashcards & Learning
Android: Free
iOS: Free
With Quizlet, you can search through millions of card sets or create and share your own. The only way that I ever learn and study for my exams is by using flashcards but sometimes they get ruined or ripped due to it being on paper but here you can make flashcards and they won't get ruined plus you can study with them anywhere anytime even offline, you can even play learning games with the flashcards.
5. Egenda - Homework Manager
Android: Free
iOS: Free
Egenda brings you the best of homework management in a full featured, beautifully designed cross platform agenda app. Egenda makes it simple to add multiple different types of assignments and manage day to day assignments. It's pretty much like a school planner that you can check anytime anywhere, and most importantly you can set reminders so you wouldn't forget to do homework or study. I think it is a great way to keep organized!
6. Khan Academy
Android: Free
iOS: Free
You can learn anything for free: Over 10,000 videos and explanations at your fingertips in math, science, economics, history, and much, much more. You can even learn when your'e offline. Last year my computer and technology teacher used this to teach us about programming and it was really super easy.
7. Goodbudget: Budget & Finance
Android: Free
iOS: Free
There are many ways to approach building a budget. One traditional method, known as the envelope system, involves physically dividing your cash into separate envelopes for expenses like groceries and your cell phone bill. Goodbudget is the virtual β and less risky β way to do this. This website and mobile app let you specify how you want to spend or save your funds. I think it's a great app if you are in collage or even High school and you want to make sure you save money and have your budget well in order. This really helps you to save money and not to over spend.
8. SimpleMind Free - Intuitive Mind Mapping
Android: Free
iOS: Free
SimpleMind+ is a mind-mapping tool that offers a nice set of options to help you organize your thoughts and flesh out your ideas. Its clean interface offers a large, blank canvas for you to use as you see fit, and there are few limitations to how you can organize info in this space. This is a great app if you are the type of person that prefers learning using mind maps.
9. Dictionary - Merriam-Webster
Android: Free
iOS: Free
This Merriam-Webster Dictionary is one of the better ones available as it lets you very quickly perform searches to find the meaning of words, and many have audio pronunciations available. I also like the fact that it supports voice search, so you can just say a word into your phone to find its meaning β handy for when you donβt actually know the wordβs correct spelling. Along with the dictionary features thereβs also a Thesaurus that lets you look up both synonyms and antonyms. I have tried many dictionary apps and this is one of my favorites! It's a great app and it's better than carrying around a big fat book.
10. Learn English with Duolingo
Android: Free
iOS: Free
Duolingo gives you the option of learning French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, or English through a diverse set of lessons. This app features a quiz-type approach interspersed with tips and brief explanations to help you fully understand the material being covered. It is designed to be used a little bit every day, so you can pick up another language whenever you have a few free minutes.
11. Forest: Stay focused
Android: Free
iOS: β¬2.29
Forest is an app helping you stay away from your smartphone and stay focused on your work. Whenever you want to concentrate, you can plant a seed in Forest. In the next 30 minutes, this small seed will gradually grow into a big tree. However, if you cannot resist the temptation and leave this app to check Facebook or play a game, your little cute tree will wither away. Every day you will own a forest filled with trees (or some withered twigs) and every tree represents 30-MINUTES that you have been working hard. This is great if you need to write an essay but don't want to procrastinate.
12. Sworkit - Workouts & Fitness Plans for Everyone
Android: Free
iOS: Free
You need to stay fit even when you are going to school and are busy. That's why Sworkit has personalized workouts that fit your schedule and your goals vs. rearranging your schedule to work out. Swork-out anywhere, anytime because no equipment is needed. No Gym. No Excuse. That's why it is great for when you are super busy with school or college or studying. Sworkit routines guide you through videos demonstrated by professional personal trainers.
13. Dictionary.com

This is yet another dictionary app but I think it is also a very good one because it is very simple to use, I really like the nice clean layout and the definitions are really simple. Totally good for school when you just don't want to carry around a big fat book.
