DIY Easter Fruit/Veg Eggs ?

April 16, 2017 at 1:45 pm, No comments
So here are some ideas of how you can decorate your Easter eggs this Easter holiday! ?

So here are the tools you will need...

  • 4 eggs
  • Paint brush
  • Pink Acrylic Paint (ICON, Rose)
  • White Acrylic Paint (Royal & Langnickel, Titanium White)
  • Green Acrylic Paint (ICON, Leaf Green)
  • Black Acrylic Paint
  • Scissors
  • Green Paper
  • Hot Glue
  • Glue Stick (Pritt Original)
  • Pencil
  • Red Paint
  • Orange paint (ICON, Red-Orange)

So this is how you do it...

Apple Egg ?

  1. Paint the egg in red.
  2. Take a piece of green paper and draw a thin rectangle on the green paper.
  3. Cut the rectangle out.
  4. Draw a leaf on the green paper.
  5. Cut out the leaf.
  6. Glue the leaf and rectangle (stem) together with a glue stick.
  7. Using hot glue, glue the stem and leaf on top of the egg.

Watermelon Egg ?

  1. Add tape to the bottom of the egg.
  2. Paint the bottom with green paint and then take off the tape, so you end up with clean edges.
  3. Add tape again but this time a little bit higher.
  4. Paint with white paint and once dry take off the tape, again leaving us with clean edges.
  5. And then paint the rest of the egg in pink.
  6. Once dry, using black paint, paint on some small seeds wherever you want.

Strawberry Egg ?

  1. Pain the egg in red.
  2. Using black paint, paint black seeds all over the egg, wherever you want.
  3. On green paper draw some leaves.
  4. Cut out the leaves.
  5. Glue the leaves together with a glue stick.
  6. Then once the egg is dry hot glue the leaves on top of the egg.

Carrot Egg ?

  1. Paint the egg orange.
  2. Using black paint, draw on some lines, wherever you want.
  3. Draw a rectangle on a piece of green paper.
  4. Cut out the rectangle and then cut out vertical lines but not fully to the end.
  5. Glue the rectangle sides together so it turns into a cylinder shape.
  6. And wit your fingers just bend the lines a bit so all of them don't look so straight.
  7. And then using hot glue, glue on the paper cylinder on top of the egg.

And that's it. Now you have 4 very pretty Easter eggs. Hope you enjoyed this and if you do recreate some of these, please send me a picture in the comments below, because I love seeing your recreations ? Also if you have any ideas for future posts, also leave them in the comments down bellow. Hope everyone has amazing Easter and I hope the Easter bunny brings you lots and lots of eggs! ?
